Members (LLC owner):

A member is the LLC’s owner.  

It’s usually best to appoint one member and list all partners, including the member, as managers (similar to directors). 

Managers’ rights and duties can be customised in the Operating Agreement. If none are appointed, the LLC defaults to member-managed. We recommend a manager-managed structure, even for solo owners.
